Urban meadow fellow

A woman moving around wearing light blue jeans and a white top.

There are so many lovely parks in London where we can immerse ourselves in nature. Especially in the summer, when the evenings are brighter and warmer, I am enjoying walking through the parks after work. I am so lucky that my home and work place are at either ends of a green route through Southbank, St James’ Park, Hyde Park and Regents Park. The perfect park crawl!

In the spirit of long walks, spontaneous picnics, and naturalistic curiosity, I have been keen to explore looks that feel comfortable across a sliding scale of formality. This has re-piqued my curiosity of jeans and all their potentials!

Jeans are so intriguing; there are so many exciting styles, silhouettes, washes and colours to play with. I have enjoyed seeing jeans on others and think they look great, but having gotten so used to skirts and dresses, it took me trying many jeans for fun from different brands to find my pair.

This pair is from Hollister. The fit is so feminine and flattering, and the white floral embroidery is sweet and adds a playful touch. I have styled with a fitted white top with delicate sheer sleeves, and flat matt golden sandals. The necklace is Forest Walk by Puppy Garden Jewellery to complete the meadow fellow look.

While we have had a cooler summer in London this year, this has been one of my favourite all purpose work-to-park looks. I love walking through the beautiful London parks, soaking in the long bright and warm summer evenings.

Is there an item of clothing that you like, but have not yet found a way to make it your own?
